FactChex is a property research company dedicated to helping property buyer have an excellent experience when making property purchases. Our personal experience has led us through a number of unfortunate occurrences involving being deceived by sellers and their agents.
Our Mission
Sellers and sellers agents use many deceptive tactics to trick property buyers into buying, and are rarely caught because the buyer has to experience the same problem in a relatively short amount of time, and then be able to prove that the seller or seller agent was also aware. Even in the rare circumstances that a buyer is able to piece all the information together, sellers and agents hide behind Caveat emptor.
Caveat emptor is a common law doctrine that places the burden on buyers to reasonably examine property before making a purchase. A buyer who fails to meet this burden is unable to recover for defects in the product that would have been discovered had this burden been met.
FactChex is here to help ensure a buyer has met this burden, and provides the extra peace of mind that the property you are about to buy has no ‘skeletons in the closet’.

FactChex shares your data with no one. FactChex retains your data as required by regulatory compliance and federal tax laws which is generally 7 years.
